With the IP-Backbone based MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching), it is possible to have band widths up to 1000MBit/s. The data is transferred transparently on an Ethernet basis. The end-to-end Management enhances the comfort and the security for the carrier, as well as for the user. With the End-to-End-Management, faults are faster recognized and pinpointed.
Virtual Leased Lines (VLL):
VLL connections allow connections between two or more locations using a state-of-the-art Ethernet Backbone. The MPLS addressing allows a secure and transparent transmission on the lowest transfer level (layer 2). Up-to-date applications such as distributed Client-Server proximity allow implementation without the need for a protocol modification. The MPLS IP-Backbone is especially suitable for time-critical applications such as multimedia, video conferences or Voice over IP (VoIP). Time-critical data can be preferentially transferred depending on its level of priority.
VLL PP:
Point-to-point connections with bandwidth of 2 Mbit/s to 1000 Mbit/s between two locations. Single routing over the IP-Backbone. Monitoring of the lines will be the responsibility of the customer. For the customers, there is a Fast Ethernet or a Gigabit Ethernet interface available to choose from.
VLL PPP:
Point-to-point connections with bandwidth of 2 Mbit/s to 1000 Mbit/s between two locations. Redundant routing over the IP-backbone.
